April Tag and Page Class

Saturday, April 27th

Scrapbooks, Too in Bloomington

Tag Class 10:30-12:30
Page Class 1:00-2:30

Page Class - for the record - my beloved Great Aunt Flo!

Tag Class!

Please bring to class:  craft mat, heat gun, scissors, edge distresser, brown distress ink (walnut stain, vintage photo or brushed corduroy) and blending tool, old cloth rag (which will get destroyed), adhesive including pop dots, and craft pick.  If you own any of these, you might want to bring the following:  Distress Inks in Rusty Hinge, Evergreen, Broken China or any blue; Distress Paints in Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Antiqued Bronze, Tarnished Brass, Spritz Water Bottle, Mini Stapler, Extra #8 Tags and gloves if you don’t want your fingers covered in paint.

For the page class, in addition to the supplies listed above, please bring a personal paper trimmer, your photo and a stamp with a quote you love for that picture – I’ll bring a few but you might have the perfect one in your stash!

I did use a 5" x 7" vertical photo for the page.  A person, a favorite place, any number of things would work.  You will need to take the tag class first if you would like to take the page class - it is a complicated technique and you will learn it in the first class - not really time to teach it in the shorter page class!  Each class is $20.

April Tag for TH April Tag Challenge

Finally, my paints arrived - it took only 22 tags to get it figured out - use lots and lots and lots of paint - and you will get some gorgeous tags!  The Christmas version is a little hard to see, but I used a holly and pine bough stamp in the background and used the Tim poinsettia die and folder to make the flower.  I used tag cardstock and rubbed the copper paint over the embossing to highlight the flowers.  Hard to photograph it with the glitter ribbon!
