I am teaching again!! Can't wait to see everyone...and hopefully some new faces too!
First up in a Tim Holtz tag class at Scrapbooks Too in Bloomington next Saturday from 10 til noon. Class is $20.
I will teach this every month. It will
feature Tim's Tag of the Month as well as a tag based on his design
with a Christmas theme. By doing it this way you will have 24
finished tags in December, 12 generic and 12 Christmas tags. The
Christmas tags can be displayed on a canvas as a piece of holiday
decor, made into a great mini book, used on cards or as deluxe tags
for your Christmas gifts. You can post your tag on his blog each
month and be eligible to win prizes from Tim! He does a random
drawing each month from all the people who submit a link with a tag
inspired by his tag of the month - and trust me, you'll want to
enter! Having won a prize box from him I can tell you it will be
fabulous...even his labels are cool! You don't have to sign up for
every class, just sign up when you like the tag or want to learn the
technique. This month's tags feature Distress Stains, Distress
Inks, embossing folder tricks, basic stamping and really cool
stamping on seam binding. Class is $20. What to bring? Scissors,
whatever you use to put gems on, adhesive, including pop dots, and
if you own it: craft mat, heat gun, walnut stain distress ink and
blending tool, faded jeans distress ink and blending tool, craft pick, and edge distresser. Call Scrapbooks Too to sign up.
I am also teaching at Anchor Paper in St. Paul. I am having a Valentine banner class on Saturday, Febraury 2 from 9:30-11:30. Class is $25.
The
banner is red and white, features Tim's new dies, lots of Crate
Paper and Authentique and fun embellishments. It is 3' long but can
stretch to a little over 4' to fit your space. It looks darling hung above a fireplace, in a
kitchen or even an office cube. It if perfect gift for yourself,
your sweetheart, your kids, your grand-kids or someone you know who
needs a little special love this Valentine's Day. You need to bring to
class: scissors, paper trimmer, adhesive, craft pick, brown (I used
tea dye, but whatever your preference is should work) distress ink
and blending tool, 1/4" hole punch, and pop dots. Some of you do
not live in the metro area and I know winter driving can be a
challenge so I will do kits for this class. If you would like a kit
mailed to you, including photos and simple instructions, it is an
extra $3 for postage -please contact me directly. It is a project you could do at home...just
more fun in a class! Call Anchor Paper to sign up for the class.
