February Page Class

This page design is inspired by the February tag in Tim's 12 Tags of 2013.  The class builds on the techniques we learn in the tag class and adds a fun technique with embossing paste and paint.

Join us for a fun class on Saturday, February 16th from 12:30-2:00.  It is not required that you take the tag class first, but it sure will help!!  You also need to bring a 4x6 photo which we will trim to 4x5 1/2.  I recommend black and white to blend with the cream, red and black color scheme.  The theme is Queen of Hearts so a female picture works best....mother, daughter, sister, BFF, granddaughter, favorite cat, cute puppy, Audrey Hepburn, Beyonce, whomever floats your boat!!  I went with #1 daughter looking mighty fine.  You could of course use a color photo, but the black and white photo really works with the colors on the page.  Think outside the box here...if you don't have a black and white photo printed, copy your color photo in black and white on cardstock...the result is a fun look!

Required Class Supllies (The Tools):  craft mat, scissors, craft pick, edge distresser, heat gun, Waterbrush or small paint brush, your favorite adhesives including pop dots or foam tape, Vintage Photo distress ink and blending tool.

Optional Class Supplies:
Please bring these IF YOU OWN THEM:  Sanding block, Distress Inks:  Distress Markers:  Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Pumice Stone, Broken China, Mustard Seed, Fired Brick.  If you have a stencil you love and want to bring it go ahead...I used the chicken wire, but it looks good with dots, flourishes, checks, anything you like...I will have a few others there, but if you love it, bring it!

Stop by Scrapbooks Too and see the page or call 952-884-0885 to sign up!  You'll leave with a finished page rich with embellishments and some new techniques!  Hope to see you there!
